
María Segimón is an of counsel lawyer in the Commercial Law area. She joined the Firm in May 2020.
A professional with over 25 years of experience, she previously worked as a partner in the corporate area of Clifford Chance and DLA Piper in Spain (specialising in M&A in capital markets) and as the head of the corporate legal advisory service of Ferrovial, and as General Counsel for Spain and Portugal and Secretary of the Board of Directors of CBRE Global Investors, the property fund manager.
She has also been a proprietary director (representing Ferrovial) of the Polish listed company Budimex and of Habitat Inmobiliaria, an independent director of Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios Socimi, S.A., of Axiare Patrimonio Socimi S.A. and of Moove Cars Sustainable Transport, S.L., and a member and the chair of various Board committees of these companies.
Her professional practice focuses on the commercial area in general, and she specialises in the financial markets field, Capital Markets and Real State.
She is a representative on the Governing Board of the Bar Association of Madrid, chairs its Internal Audit Committee and is in charge of the international area.
