Eva Hernández Velasco

Eva Hernández is the Head of the Labour Law and Social Security Department. She joined the Firm in October 2001 and was appointed as a partner in March 2007.
Before joining the Firm, she worked for four years in the Department of Labour Law at GARRIGUES firm.
Currently she provides general employment advice to companies and management, including expatriates and local workers of transnational groups. She also has extensive expertise in preparing legal reports on labour and Social Security matters and in conducting labour audits of business enterprises (with the relevant drafting of due diligence reports). She has also acted in employment redundancy files and generally in collective or plural procedures for corporate restructuring, including arrangements for substantial change in working conditions or wage opt-out.
Another important part of her practice is the representation of clients in disputes and litigation of labour nature, both in courts and out-of-court negotiations.
