Ignacio Eguidazu Mayor

Ignacio Eguidazu is a lawyer in the Corporate, M&A and Finance Area and Family Business Area. He joined the Firm as a partner in February 2012. Previously, from 1992 to 2006, he worked as a lawyer at KPMG Abogados reaching the category of Director and, subsequently, as a partner in the Commercial Department of the law firm GOÑI y CAJIGAS Abogados, from November 2006 to January 2012.
His professional practice focuses on the company business area in general and, in particular, in the corporate field. He provides general advice on the incorporation of companies, structural modifications, such as mergers and demergers, corporate transactions, amendments to articles of association and shareholders’ agreements.
Another important part of his practice consists of mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising on corporate restructuring processes, including debt refinancing and assistance in bankruptcy proceedings.
He has also wide experience in family business law.
He teaches on the Master’s Degree in International Business Law at ISDE, on the subjects of corporate groups and corporate succession.
