EMPLOYMENT LAW LAWYER

Luis Gustavo San Emeterio is a lawyer from the Employment and Social Security Law Department. He joined the Firm in November 2014.

Prior to join the firm, he worked during the previous four years in the Employment and Social Security law department from Ernst & Young Abogados (now EY Abogados). Prior to this, he was part of the Employment and Social Security law teams of Gómez – Acebo & Pombo Abogados and Barrilero & Asociados, as well as part of the legal departments of Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) and Mercer Human Resources Consulting.

Luis provides Employment and Social Security law advice, representing clients before all type of employment agencies and bodies in areas such as dismissals, substantial modifications of employment conditions, employment sanctions, pension commitments or Social Security related issues amongst others, in such a way that his services cover both individual and collective issues.

In addition, he provides advice to clients on contractual and remuneration matters and on Employment and Social Security due diligence processes.

Finally, another important part of his practice focuses on teaching at Centro de Estudios Garrigues of Madrid and in the Universidad of Navarra. He is author of several publications in different professional journals and he has co-authored several published works regarding labour and social security laws.
